ISHAV ARCTICO

Ishav Arctico is a Destination Management Company which covers the arctic regions and high Arctic Islands located mainly in Norway.

It was founded in 2008 by Javier Arjona, who was involved, in the past, in developing resources in those territories for other companies with different structures.

The company was created by the only goal of providing outstanding and customized services beyond the customers’ expectations in polar areas.

Along the years, the aim has been how to create luxury concepts and targets unknown until that moment in the arctic areas and how to manage and coordinate local suppliers in order to make them part of the project.

Some of the tools and basis to make this happen are the following:

  1. Perfect knowledge of the areas and resources in which operating.
  2. Selected suppliers and mutual high confidence (terms as security, safety, exclusivity, privacy or solutions are first values in the concepts we manage).
  3. Creativity and sensibility when developing the product.
  4. Skill in managing, advance to the possible problems which may occur and anticipating in alternative solutions.

Each journey is treated as an experience in search of the “perfect moment”. The commitment to all customers consists in having the idea that “every moment has been created for them”, doing something unique that they could not do by themselves”.

FIT´s, incentive companies, politicians, steering groups, celebrities and high end profile customers have already travelled following Ishav Arctico concepts with amazing results and big success.

the week, discover impressive glaciers and mountains, seal and walrus colonies and the remains from the whaling period on the North West corner of Spitsbergen, as well as many different birds and some whales en-route.

  • Moffen island

There are many other beautiful spots to enjoy on the way but we will adapt the final itinerary according to the polar bears’ movements, tracks and other relevant factors. Occasionally we discuss some points with our travellers to meet their
